Don't be fooled into thinking this is just a fish and chip shop! There's a full Greek restaurant at the back, and the food and service are incredible. We had the village meze for two - endless quantities of beautiful Greek food and all for 25 per person. Could easily feed four. My grandmother was Greek and I miss her cooking - this reminded me of her food, truly authentic and served with a smile. Thank you George's.

I ordered a takeaway from George’s and was absolutely blown away! From start to finish, I had a few friends over so I decided to order 2 Pork sheftalia, 2 chicken souvla and a few dips. Ordering was quick and my food arrived in good time. It was freshly cooked and still very warm once I dished it up at home. The quality of the food exceeded my expectations. The chicken souvla were tender, juicy, and packed with authentic Greek flavors. The tzatziki sauce was fresh and creamy, the sheftalia was just how I was served it in Cyprus (delicious) and the pita bread was soft and warm. Everything was clearly made with care and attention to detail. George and the staff took the time to talk to us. There was a buzzy feel about the place. The portions were generous, and the pricing was more than fair for the amount and quality of food I received. I spotted a customer ordering a chicken gyros chips, greek salad and dips. They looked scrumptious and will definitely be ordering them next time If you're looking for an authentic Greek meal to enjoy at home, George’s fish and souvlaki is hands-down the best takeaway I've had. Highly recommended—I will definitely be ordering again soon!" Thanks George for the outstanding food you cook.

Went there today sat outside, ordered the shaftalia and pork Slovakia. Really tasty food and service was great. George the owner even came out side to talk to us. Lovely people great food what more could you want

I have had a few things off the menu and I have enjoyed everything I've tried. I'm not a huge lover of chicken on the bone but the chicken wings are amazing and are now one of my favourite orders. Friendly staff. Tasty food. Loads of options.

It's very difficult to find good quality fish and chips. I thought I'd give these guys a try. Ordered two large fish and chips and some batter sausages. The quality of the food was excellent. It was cooked perfectly and on time for my collection. George and Joe were extremely courteous and friendly. The whole family commented on how all the elements of our order were of superior quality to other places we have tried. If you want a really good fish dinner these guys knock it out of the park! Can't wait to go back again.

Really lovely family run business was so kind to me when I ordered my fish and chips. It’s been running for years this place since I was in school! I just read an unnecessary nasty review. If it wasn’t nice then why have they been running for so many years? I think this is probably the longest running restaurant in South Woodford! Keep up the good work and thank you for my lovely fish and chips :)

Ignore the bad feedback on here!! Easily the best chippy in the E11/Woodford area. Fantastic Fish n Chips / fries Great mushy peas and curry dip too. Fish tasted fresh and was grilled in a really nice way. Chips were cooked just right. Glad we've finally found a decent chippy in the area.
